What is Patch Out Loud?
Patch Out Loud makes custom tote bags and crewneck sweatshirts decorated with embroidered patches and monogrammed initials. You choose the item, the color, the patches and your initials, and we hand-apply everything to order.
Can I shop Patch Out Loud in person?
Yes. We do pop-up events across Westchester County, NY and lower Fairfield County, CT, where you can see every patch and design your piece with us. Dates are posted on Instagram at @patchoutloud. See our pop-up events, or learn how to host a pop-up at your school, club, shop or party.
How many patches come with each item?
Every tote and sweatshirt includes 5 patches in the price. Mix and match any combination of design patches and A–Z letter patches. Want more? Each extra patch is $12, added automatically when you pick more than 5.
Can I get a monogrammed tote bag or sweatshirt?
Yes. Pick up to 3 letter patches, A to Z, in the Pick Your Patches step for a personalized, monogrammed look. Letters count toward your 5 included patches, so a 3-letter monogram plus 2 design patches is included in the price.
How much does a custom patch tote bag or sweatshirt cost?
The Everyday Tote starts at $70 and the Classic Patch Crewneck starts at $65, each with 5 embroidered patches included. Extra patches are $12 each. New customers can use code PATCH10 for 10% off.
Where can I buy a custom patch tote bag?
You can design and buy one online at Patch Out Loud, or in person at our pop-ups in Westchester and lower Fairfield County, CT. Choose a canvas tote with Green, Navy, Red or Black trim, pick 5 embroidered patches and add your initials. Design a custom tote.
What are good personalized bridesmaid gifts?
Monogrammed tote bags and custom patch sweatshirts are popular bridesmaid gifts because they're personal and get used long after the wedding. Pick one color for the bridal party and change the initials and patches for each bridesmaid. Shop bridesmaid gifts or see bridesmaid proposal box ideas.
Do you take group orders for bridal parties, bachelorettes or teams?
Yes. Order each piece on the site, or see our bulk & custom orders page for larger groups and wedding welcome bags. Order at least 3 weeks before your event.
Is this custom embroidery? Are there minimums?
We use embroidered patches, which give you a stitched, custom embroidered look with no setup fees and no minimums. You can order just one. Compare patches vs. embroidery.
I love a patch from your photos. Can I get it?
Yes. Pick your patches on the product page, then add the patch you saw (like the whale, tennis rackets, horse or Nantucket pennant) in the order notes at checkout, or contact us. We will confirm by email before we make your piece.
What can I customize?
Right now you can personalize our canvas tote bags (Natural & Green, Natural & Navy, Natural & Red and Natural & Black) and our classic crewneck sweatshirts (Cream, Heather Grey, Hunter Green and Black, sizes XS–XL).
How are the patches applied?
Every patch is hand-applied with care, so each piece is made to order and no two are exactly alike.
Can I choose where my patches go?
Yes. Tell us in the "Where should your patches go?" box on the product page, or leave it blank and we will place them for you. See our patch placement guide.
How long does shipping take?
Every piece is custom made to order and ships in 7–10 business days. Shipping is free on orders over $75. See shipping details.

What is your return policy?
Because every piece is custom made just for you, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. Please double-check your patches, initials and size before you place your order. See our returns page.
